Scammers bought a $1600 set less than 6 months ago. It’s falling apart. But it’s okay because we paid $300 extra for a warranty right? WRONG. THEY WONT COVER ANYTHING. After endless phone calls my husband went into the store to speak to someone and they threatened to call cops on him if he didn’t leave. Do not buy from here

yesterday i had come in looking for a recliner, and while looking for an employee for some assistance, i heard one of the managers, who introduced herself as ‘jen’ talking about how she thinks hitting her kids in public is okay, and talking about how she would hit them in the middle of the store if they acted up, which is genuinely just crazy to hear while trying to shop for furniture!
in fact, i wasn’t even aware she was a worker until I was approached in store, and she wouldn’t even give a moment to let me just look around- she wasn’t dressed like the other employees so I didn't even realize she was part of the staff at all

Jen, the store manger, was extremely helpful and wonderful to work with! She made the decision making process enjoyable!

Sorry for the confusion. We have not had any walk outs, but would be happy to serve you.

The workers were very helpful and nice, but when told furniture would arrive in 2 to 3 days they were unable to provide service. But they were able to charge for it all right away but not deliver 😔 they also had a few workers walk out and not return recently.

El servicio es muy malo de parte de las muchachas que trabajan ahí la señora de pelo rojo me dijo que ahí no aceptan personas que hable español que la tienda es sola de persona que hablen inglés y que no me podían atender . Eh tenido la oportunidad de ir antes cuando Arturo estaba   y nunca me había pasado eso al contrario siempre ha sido muy atento en todo y sabe cómo tratar a sus clientes ..
No deberían de tener personas que no saben tratar personas y que claramente saben español y solo por no atender personas hispanas no lo hacen muy mal servicio

I’ve visited the store a few times because I’m looking to purchase a dining room and bedroom set. Every time I have been there, when I walk into the store I’m not even greeted. There are three women that work there and not one of them ever come to help me. I always see them either talking amongst themselves in a corner or on their phones. I spoke to the manager Arturo who is the only one that ever greets me and helps me. I gave the complaint to him about his employees. One of the women has bright red hair, I believe her name is Nancy, and a Spanish one with blonde hair that are always talking or on there phones they don’t even bother saying hi. The only one that occasionally waves from a great distance is a woman that resembles a man due to the facial hair. But even then I never receive help only from the manager. As a customer I wouldn’t want to buy anything with that kind of personnel, the company needs to work on hiring more respectful and enthusiastic employees if they want to sell their product.

I recommend Arturo is the best in this store all the time I need furniture Arturo always is there 100% recommend Arturo

Don't buy any appliances from this company, it looks attractive wise, but if it breaks, no one come to fix it, and you will have to buy another new appliance.

They sell you "insurance" that does nothing, and you will wait Months, without your Refrigerator or Oven. Its a SCAM.

May 2023 I have bought a new GE Cafe refrigerator from the American Fright Appliance store, it was a good buy Bc it had a little damage outside, but half price. I also bought 3 Years insurance, if anything goes BAD.

About a year after, it stop working. I called American Fright to get it repaired, and they referred me to their "Insurance" department called "Assurant" (800) 454-7124. If you call that #, it is robotic answering system that don't really take care of you. So i called American fright again, and they put on line the "insurance", which then referred me to a service company near by where i live, called Renah Appliance repair Inc.

Renah Appliance repair Inc scheduled a service visit for a week after, and i waited all day for them, only to find out they will never come.

I called America Fright Again, and this time they sent another repair service company, Rapid Appliance Repair, that again schedule a visit for a week after. I AM NOW WAITING FOR 2 WEEKS without a refrigerator.

The new repair company found out that the Compressor need to be replaced, and they are waiting for American Fright to approve the cost, which now is 2 weeks after. NOW I AM WAITING FOR 1 MONTH without a refrigerator.

I called American Fright to ask why is my refrigerator not getting fixed, and they claimed that the repair company Rapid Appliance Repair didn't sent them the report.

I called the repair company Rapid Appliance Repair and they say the report was sent 2 weeks ago. WHAT A SCAM.

Highly recommend this location! Lux and Arturo are the best representatives we have come to meet in any local business in the wilkes barre Scranton area! Both have wonderful high energy Which makes it a fun local place to shop! There's a great selection of product at great prices as well.  We will be back!

Arturo was great! He walked me through multiple different styles of couches when I didn’t have a clue what I was even looking for .. he was patient and a great sales person!
