Thousands of pieces of living room, bedroom and dining room furniture arrive at select American Freight locations, with savings up to 70% on select items
American Freight has brought thousands of pieces of special-purchase furniture to 11 stores across six states, giving shoppers another way to find furniture for less at the retailer’s warehouse-style locations.
The inventory comes from a major special purchase made by American Freight after acquiring thousands of pieces of furniture from another retailer’s liquidation. The assortment includes living room, bedroom and dining room furniture, with savings up to 70% on select items.
“We bought big, and that gives us an opportunity to bring some exceptional values to our customers,” said Lindsay Loprest, Director, Merchandising & Procurement.
The special-purchase inventory includes a wide assortment of styles, colors and individual pieces. Shoppers may find sofas, sectionals, unique seating, bedroom furniture, dressers, chests, nightstands, hutches and other furniture finds. Selection and quantities vary by location, and much of the special-purchase merchandise is available in-store only and will not be listed online.

The special-purchase inventory was distributed to select American Freight stores in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, including:

- Livonia, Michigan
- Warren, Michigan
- Cincinnati, Ohio
- St. Albans / Charleston, West Virginia

- North Tonawanda / Buffalo, New York
Because this inventory was acquired through a special purchase, selection is different at each store and quantities are limited. Customers are encouraged to visit their local American Freight store to see what is currently available.
American Freight’s warehouse-style stores are open to the public and allow customers to shop furniture that’s already in stock, with free local pickup and local delivery available in many areas.
