Pick-up and Delivery
In Store Pickup Policy
Once your furniture or mattress has been purchased, there are two options you can choose from to get it to your home: in-store pickup or delivery. For all in-stock items, you can pick up the merchandise the same day you purchase it. If the item is not in stock, you will be notified by the store when it arrives and can set a time to pick up your item. If you are unable to pick up the item at the scheduled time, notify the store immediately.
We do not charge any additional fees if you choose to pick up your furniture yourself. In order to pick up your merchandise, you’ll need to know the name or phone number on the order. We require all customers to inspect their items for any visible defects before leaving the store.
As a courtesy to customers, American Freight will provide loading assistance to help customers load purchased merchandise into their personal vehicles at the customer’s request.
American Freight cautions customers that self-loading and transportation of merchandise may present risks of injury to the customer, or others, and damage to the customer’s vehicle, or other vehicles, and the purchased merchandise. American Freight recommends that customers utilize delivery services, which minimize the risk of property damage and personal injuries.
Due to the personal injury and property damage risks, courtesy loading assistance is limited to only the act of assisting the customer with placing purchased merchandise in their vehicle.
American Freight and its staff is unable to provide the following services for customers:
1) Move or rearrange existing items in customer’s vehicles
2) Remove seats from vehicles
3) Attempt to put items in vehicles that clearly will not fit
4) Tie down items to trailers, vehicle roofs, or trunks
American Freight staff may not accept gratuities for providing loading assistance to customers.
American Freight will not be responsible for any personal injury or property damage occurring while providing loading assistance.
We reserve the right to refuse to load merchandise that could result in injury, property damage or present unsafe conditions to associates or customers.
Delivery Guidelines
The amount of time your order will be in transit varies according to item location, size, weight, and shipping/delivery type selected during checkout. Please note that we only ship within the continental United States.
Delivery
American Freight reserves the right to refuse delivery due to the threat of harm, unsafe conditions to customers, associates, or other agents of American Freight or their property. Delivery prices and scheduling may vary depending on where your item(s) are located around the country. Once your order has been placed, American Freight will calculate the distance between your delivery address and the origin of the item being delivered.
Please note: Orders with multiple items may arrive separately as they may come from different locations.
